THE STORY
Millions of leaves fall to the ground every autumn and are constantly thrown
away in our cities. However this is not the end, but the beginning of a new life.
Out of wonderful autumn LAAB, which means „leaves“ in the southtyrolean dialect,
unique lamps are created, 100% handmade.
The main goal was to find alternative materials to plastic, trying to use natural resources that surround us and which we normally consider as waste. In fact leaves are perfectly recycled in nature, but in our cities they are constantly thrown away.
LAAB INCORPORATES CRAFTMANSHIP, QUALITY, SUSTAINABILITY & DESIGN
The true innovation is the material itself.
In fact LAAB can be used in a wide range of applications. The extraordinary
feature of this new material is that light shines through unique textures.
Colour and structure depend exclusively on the leaves used. The different colour
and light nuances create a very individual, warm and inviting atmosphere
and give every room something very special.
The idea for LAAB was born in 2015.
